Before the engagement we agree the single process in scope — onboarding, invoicing, candidate screening, work-order routing, anything that runs daily and has named people doing it. Everything in the workbook is built around that one process.

We interview the people who run, supervise, hand off, and rely on the process. The interviews surface the decisions, the exceptions, and the tacit knowledge that do not live in any SOP document — the artifacts the rest of the methodology depends on.

One workbook you own forever
Inputs, decisions, handoffs, exception paths, tooling, data sources — captured in a structured workbook and handed back as a single document. The workbook is the input to Stage 03 (AI Solution Roadmap) and the reference any future Werkbench engagement is measured against.

Why is this $99 and not free?
The price is not the product. The product is the bound — a single defined process area, fully captured, yours to keep. Going free invites scoping drift: a workbook that tries to cover three processes becomes a workbook that covers none of them well. Charging keeps the scope honest on both sides.

What if my process is small?
That is exactly the right kind of process for the workbook. A weekly invoicing run, the intake/conversion path on a service site, the candidate-screening triage for a recruiting team — anything that runs daily and has two or three people touching it.

What happens after I submit?
We email you within one business day to confirm the process in scope and to schedule the interviews. The engagement usually completes inside a week; you receive the workbook by email as a single document, ready for the AI Solution Roadmap if you choose to continue.

Do I need the free Clarity Session first?
No — the workbook is its own entry point. The Clarity Session is a good warm-up if you want a second opinion on which process to focus on, but if you already know the area, start at the workbook and skip the conversation.
